Developed by Kluane First Nation, this website provides resources to individuals on Southern Tutchone – including Lhù’ààn Mân Kwánje, a guidebook for families and novice speakers of Kluane Southern Tutchone. This guidebook provides Southern Tutchone translations for placenames, common sayings and animals.
Lhù’ààn Mân Keyì Dań Kwanje Nààtsat: Kluane Lake Country People Speak Strong 2024
Elders from Lhù'ààn Mân Keyí (Kluane First Nation) recorded oral histories about their lives in the southwest Yukon. They shared wisdom, stories and songs passed down from grandparents, aunties and uncles, in Dan k'e (Southern Tutchone, Kluane dialect) and English.
Lhù’ààn Mân - Kluane Lake Research Summit report 2023
Bringing together academic and government researchers, and Indigenous scholars from across Canada and KFN citizens and community members, the 2023 Lhù’ààn Mân-Kluane Lake Summit facilitated the sharing of Indigenous perspectives in research, fostering collaborative learning and emphasizing community involvement and Indigenous knowledge.

Lhù’ààn Mân Kluane Lake Research Summit 2018
The inaugural 2018 Lhù’ààn Mân - Kluane Lake Research Summit in Burwash Landing initiated a dialogue between Kluane First Nation and researchers, merging Indigenous and scientific knowledge for environmental understanding. Recommendations emphasized cross-cultural learning, Kluane history education for researchers, and improved local-research community communication.
Nourishing our Future Film 2017
This documentary was created as part of Kluane First Nation’s “Nourishing our Future” project and tells the story of how climate change and the history of food insecurity have affected Kluane First Nations people and the land they call home.
Nourishing our Future 2014
Kluane First Nation in partnership with the Arctic Institute of Community-Based Research established the Nourishing our Future project to develop a community food security strategy to maintain traditional food sources, enhance our ability to grow food, and contribute to making our community more food secure for the future.
Kluane First Nation Final Agreement 2003
KFN’s Final Agreement was signed on October 18th 2003, and covers the occupation, ownership and management of settlement land, land use planning, heritage, fish and wildlife, forest resources, non-renewable resources, financial compensation, taxation and economic development measures.

Reconnection Vision
The Yukon First Nations Action Fellowship – the Children ofTomorrow – have connected and collaborated on a Yukon First Nations approach toclimate action. The Reconnection Vision is a societal shift guide and toolkitthat reframes and deepens our understanding of the climate and mental healthcrisis as a crisis of disconnection.
Ikaarvik
An independent, Indigenous-led organization, Ikaarvik supports opportunities for northern Indigenous youth to empower themselves for self-determination in northern research and decision making. In 2019, youth from Kluane and Champagne & Aishihik First Nations took part in an Ikaarvik workshop to discuss environmental issues affecting their communities.
